North Dakota is bucking small business trends

Fiserv, Inc. has published the April 2024 edition of their Small Business Index — and in the process, showcased trends in consumer spending that exist throughout the entire nation. However, in an unexpected turn of events, businesses in North Dakota are rebelling against the national norm, to extremely positive results.
 
The Fiserv Small Business Index is published during the first week of every month, and showcases how consumer spending at small businesses has risen or lowered over a monthly and yearly basis.
