The North Dakota Office of the Secretary of State wants to remind people that the June 11 Primary Election is only three weeks away. As election day gets closer, voters are encouraged to make a plan to cast their ballot.
“Primary elections determine which partisan, judicial, and county candidates move forward to the general election in November. City and school contests are final in the primary which means this election determines who will lead and serve at the local level,” said Secretary of State Michael Howe. “Additionally, there is one statewide measure on the June 11 Primary ballot and there could be other city or county measures that are decided in this election. As we approach our June Primary Election, North Dakotans have several options to securely and confidently cast their ballots.”
People can go to vote.nd.gov/myvotinginfo to request an application for an absentee ballot and find voting information specific to their address, including polling locations and times and whether their county offers early voting. They can also view a sample of their Primary Election ballot.
